[ARCHIVED] Statesville man charged with Child Exploitation charges

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: In June of 2020, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Department received a Cyber-tip through the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. The Cyber-tip included information about an individual who was possibly in possession of child pornography.

The investigation was assigned to Detective Sergeant J. Lowrance with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Special Victim’s Unit. Detective Sgt. J. Lowrance reviewed the information and obtained several search warrants related to this investigation.

Bases upon the evidence obtained through the investigation, Christopher Allen Miller of 139 Strawberry Lane, Statesville was arrested and charged with: Six Counts of Felony Third Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, and One Count of Felony Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Christopher Allen Miller appeared before Magistrate S. Watkins who issued a 50,000.00 dollar secured bond on these charges.
