[ARCHIVED] Three Statesville men charged with multiple felony drug crimes.

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Tuesday, March 3, 2020, Iredell Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators along with deputies of the SERT Team, Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Team, Interstate Criminal Enforcement (ICE) Team and Criminal Investigation Detectives executed two search warrants in the City of Statesville ending a seven-week investigation into the distribution of “Crack” cocaine.

Narcotics investigators had received information about Terry Lee Roseboro, and Raymond Dewayne Ramseur working together to distribute “Crack” cocaine.

During the investigation, undercover narcotics investigators were able to conduct surveillance operations, and made numerous undercover purchases from both Roseboro, and Ramseur.

On Tuesday, March 3, 2020 while conducting surveillance prior to the executing of the search warrants, investigators saw Ramseur arrive at 129 Garfield Street, the residence Roseboro is stay, and enter the home.

After Ramseur left home, members of the ICE, and ACE Teams performed a traffic stop on his vehicle where they took him into custody.

A short time later, a search warrant was executed at 129 Garfield Street. Once inside the home, narcotics investigators located “Crack” cocaine, Marijuana along with other items consistent with the sell/distribution of controlled substances inside the residence. Throughout this investigation drugs valued at over 10,000.00 dollars were seized by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigations Unit.

Investigators also executed an additional search warrant at 1005 Rickert Street, Statesville, which was the home Ramseur was staying in at the time.

As a result of this investigation, Terry Lee Roseboro was arrested and charged with: Four Counts of Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Distribute Schedule II Controlled Substance (Cocaine), Two Counts of Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule II (Cocaine), Three Counts of Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, Four counts of Felony Maintaining a Dwelling or Sell or Use Controlled Substances, and Four Counts of Felony Conspiracy to Sell or Deliver Controlled Substance.

Raymond Dewayne Ramseur was arrested and charged with Three Counts of Felony Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance (Cocaine), Three Counts of Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, and Felony Maintaining a Dwelling to Sell or Use Controlled Substance.

Charles Edward Kimbrough was arrested on Friday, March 6, 2019 for charges stemming from his involvement in this investigation. He was charged with: Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Marijuana, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver “Crack” cocaine, and Felony Maintaining a Dwelling. Kimbrough was taken before Magistrate S. Watkins who issued a 20,000.00 dollars secured bond on these charges.

Sheriff Campbell added, “As you can see from the convictions in the criminal histories of these suspects, they are repeat offenders. The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office will actively target, and go after repeat offenders who continue to sell drugs on the streets of Iredell County. By selling drugs, they contribute to other crimes such as robbery, breaking and entering, and larcenies, which are committed by people who are addicted to these drugs so they can afford to buy the drugs. By removing these drug dealers from our community, we help everyone”.
