[ARCHIVED] Troutman charged with numerous felony crimes.

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Thursday, November 7, 2019, deputies, and detectives with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office were conducting surveillance on a location in the eastern part of Iredell County after developing information on Donald Lee Beaver, who had been frequenting the area on a four wheeler.

At the time of the surveillance operation, Donald Lee Beaver had twenty three outstanding Felony, and Misdemeanor Arrest Warrants outstanding, along with Probation Violations, He was at the time considered one of Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted Persons.

While conducting surveillance, deputies received additional information about Donald Lee Beaver staying in a barn off of Loggerhead Road. Deputies went to the location and located Beaver hiding in the barn.

He was taken into custody after a brief struggle with the deputies attempting to arrest him. There were two four-wheelers located in the barn which had been previously reported stolen. The total recovery value of the stolen four-wheelers was 6,500.00 dollars.

Donald Lee Beaver was then taken to the Iredell County Detention Center where he was served with: Felony Larceny, Two Counts of Felony Breaking and Entering, Two Counts of Felony Larceny after Break and Enter, Two Counts of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods, Misdemeanor Larceny, and Two Counts of Misdemeanor Resist, Obstruct, and Delay. Magistrate T. Thompson issued Beaver a 250,000.00 secure bond on these charges. Beaver also had 16 Felony Probation Violations served on him. Bond for these charges was 126,000 dollars secured bond, bringing his total bond to 376,000.00 dollars secured. Additional charges are expected as this investigation continues.

Criminal history: Two Counts of Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Simple Assault, Misdemeanor Second Degree Trespass, Misdemeanor Communicating Threats, Misdemeanor Assault on a Female, Two Counts of Misdemeanor Resisting a Public Officer, Five Counts of Misdemeanor Larceny, Felony Larceny, Three Counts of  Felony Breaking and Entering, and Felony Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle.
