[ARCHIVED] Two Winston-Salem residents charged with Trafficking Heroin or Opium along with other drug crimes.

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Wednesday, October 2, 2019 Sergeant E. Line with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Team conducted a traffic stop on a purple Honda Civic on Highway 70 East at Keller Lane in Eastern Iredell County.

Sgt. Line approached the car, and spoke with the driver Nathan Wilkins. Sgt. Line asked Wilkins to come back to his patrol vehicle. As Wilkins was getting out of his vehicle, Sgt. Line saw him attempt to conceal Heroin by dropping the packets inside the vehicle before exiting.

Nathan Wilkins was taken into custody. A search of his vehicle was conducted. Deputy P. Dragowski arrived to assist. He asked a female passenger to step out of the vehicle. This female passenger was identified as Jennifer Lilly.

During the search of the vehicle Deputy Dragowski located 30 ml of liquid Morphine, Methamphetamine, Fentanyl patches, 64 grams of marijuana, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.                                                                                       

Both Wilkins, and Lilly was placed under arrest, and transported to the Iredell County Detention Facility.

Nathan Wilkins was charged with: Felony Level Two Trafficking in Opium or Heroin, Felony Possession of Heroin, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Marijuana, Felony Possession of Marijuana, Felony Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance, and Two Misdemeanor Counts of Possession of Drug paraphernalia.

Jennifer Lilly was charged with: Felony Level Two Trafficking in Opium or Heroin, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Marijuana, Felony Possession of Marijuana, Felony Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance, and Two Misdemeanor Counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both Wilkins, and Lilly were taken before Magistrate P. Tutterrow who issued each suspect a 400.000.00 dollar secured bond.
