[ARCHIVED] Gastonia man charged with felony crimes.


Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Thursday, July 11, 2019 the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a breaking and entering which had occurred at 2384 Buffalo Shoals Road.


Detective D. Wyatt was assigned the case and conducted an investigation into the incident. A canvass of the neighborhood was conducted. Home security camera footage was located of the suspect breaking into the residence.

Detective Wyatt was able to trace some of the reported stolen property to a gold dealer in Cramerton, North Carolina. Upon further investigation, Daniel Ray Bellamy was identified as the person who sold the jewelry to the gold dealer, the same day of the break-in.

Detective Wyatt was able to recover the stolen property. Arrest warrants on Bellamy were issued for Felony Breaking & Entering, and Felony Larceny after Breaking & Entering. 

Daniel Ray Bellamy was arrested in Gaston County on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. He received a 10,000.00 dollars secured bond in Gaston County.
