In April, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office was invited to teach the Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) Training course to some of the employees of Hexpol Compounding NC Inc. After making arrangements, three classes where conducted in May of this year.
On Tuesday, July 8, 2019, The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office was notified by Hexpol Compounding NC Inc., about a donation of video, and computer equipment they wished to make to the Sheriff’s Office to be used in the teaching of the Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) course taught by Sheriff’s Office Personnel.
The donated equipment included: 2 GoPro HERO Video Cameras, 2 Hohem Gimbal Stabilizers, 2 Regetek Tripods, 2 Monopiece Hard Cases, and various related computer accessories. In all over 1200.00 dollars’ worth of equipment.
Sheriff Campbell also said, “We want to thank Hexpol Compounding NC Inc., for this extremely generous donation. This equipment will be used by our R.A.D. Instructors to better teach this valuable course. We want to thank all of our business, and community partners who assist us to make Iredell County safer. We have taught this course to numerous businesses, to school groups, civic groups and in many churches. We will make the scheduling available for anyone who wants to receive this beneficial training”.
