Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Wednesday, June 26, 2019 Iredell County Sheriff’s Office  Deputy C. James who is one of the Sex Offender Compliance Deputies was notified about a Registered Sex Offender, Michael Connor Lamp Jr., had updated his address to 604 Foxcroft Terrace, Statesville.

Deputy James checked the address for compliance, and determined the address was within 1000 feet of Statesville Montessori School. Deputy James attempted to make contact with Lamp at the registered address but was unable to do so.
