Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Wednesday July 18 and Thursday July 19, 2018 the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office received reports of breaking and entering’s which had occurred at two homes on the Westside of Iredell County.
Home surveillance video from one of the break-ins showed a single black male enter the residence. In both break-ins; guns, musical equipment, Xboxes and Play Stations’ were removed.
During neighborhood canvasing, Detectives learned the suspect had been seen driving an older model blue Chevrolet Impala.
Detective C. Jarvis located a car matching the suspect description on Taylorsville Highway and conducted a traffic stop which led to the suspect, David Bernard Glaspy, being identified. Detectives and deputies executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence and recovered several of the items which had been listed as stolen.
David Glaspy was taken into custody and was taken to the Iredell County Detention Center where he was charged with: Two Counts of Felony Breaking and Entering, Two Counts of Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering, and Two counts of Felony Larceny of a Firearm.
Glaspy was taken before Magistrate S. Nicholson who issued him a 10,000.00 dollar secured bond.
