[ARCHIVED] Man charged with Perth Road break-ins.

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated:  On Saturday June 30, 2018 Deputy C.S. Little of the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office took a report for multiple breaking and entering and larcenies which occurred at Marlan Properties located 1156 Perth Road, the victims reported several different items were stolen from the property.


Deputy C. S. Little began the investigation by speaking to a witness and gained information on a possible suspect. As a result of Deputy C. S. Little’s investigation he was able to obtain warrants for three counts of Felony Breaking and Entering and three counts of Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering, and one account of Felony Break or Enter Boat on Christopher Gage Handy.


On Sunday July 1, 2018 Deputy C.S. Little and Sgt. Sherrill located Christopher Gage Handy at 694 Turnersburg Highway in Statesville.  The deputies were also able to recover several of the stolen items at the residence.


Christopher Gage Handy was arrested and transported to the Iredell County Detention Center. Handy and taken before Magistrate S. Watkins who issued a 5,000.00 secured bond in this matter.
