Sheriff Darren Campbell stated:  A month long investigation into the sale of heroin concluded this morning with a search warrant being executed at 179 Jeremy Lane in eastern Iredell County.

The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigation Unit received information from community members in reference to Brady Scott Mitchell of 179 Jeremy Lane selling heroin. They recognized Mitchell from previous narcotics violations and an arrest photograph.

In 2017, Iredell County Sheriff’s Office narcotics detectives were able to observe Brady Mitchell selling heroin and purchasing heroin at 179 Jeremy Lane. A search warrant was executed at the home and Mitchell was arrested and found to be in possession of heroin and a firearm.

Sheriff Campbell stated on Thursday February 15, 2018, narcotics detectives along with members of the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team (SERT) conducted another search warrant 179 Jeremy Lane and again located heroin and other drug paraphernalia.

At the time of the warrant service, Brady Scott Mitchell was not at home.
