Sheriff Darren Campbell stated:
While conducting surveillance in Western Iredell County on an unrelated matter, a undercover investigator with the Narcotics Investigation Unit observed two vehicles meet at a business on Highway 90 and then move to a location on Tarlton Road.
The two vehicles met again and the drivers briefly spoke. The investigator then observed a hand to hand exchange. A vehicle stop was then executed and after speaking with both drivers and obtaining consent to search the vehicles, controlled substances were located in both vehicles.
Both suspects were taken to the Iredell County Detention Center and each was charged with one count of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance.
Bradley W. Miller of 1336 Lackey Mountain Road in Stony Point was placed under 5000.00 dollars secured bond. Miller was out on bond for other felony charges at this time.
Glendine Crum of 148 Fence Post Lane in Stony Point was placed under 2500.00 dollars secured bond.
Both suspects are scheduled to appear in District Court on Friday June 26 in Mooresville for their first appearance.
