[ARCHIVED] Most Wanted Sex Offender arrested by Iredell County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Tuesday September 26, 2017, a warrant was obtained on registered sex offender, Kyle Wayne Stutts, for Failure to Notify Address Change with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office. Stutts was placed in the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted List and was entered nationally as a Wanted Person.

This week, Sex Offender Compliance Deputy John Adams, received a tip on a possible location for Stutts. Deputy Adams followed up on the information located Kyle Stutts at 375 Brookfield Drive in Statesville.

Kyle Stutts was placed under a 20,000.00 dollar secured bond for Failure to Notify Address Change. Stutts also had additional warrants for Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, and Fictitious Information to Officer, and received an additional 10,000.00 dollar secure bond on these charges.

Stutts was convicted in 2011 for Indecent Liberties with a Minor and was placed on the Sex Offender Registry. His criminal history includes: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Notify Change of Address, Felony Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance, and Two Counts of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, Misdemeanor Breaking and Entering, Larceny, Resist Public Officer, and Injury to Personal Property.
