[ARCHIVED] Suspect arrested for Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny, Possession of Firearm by Felon

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated that Deputies and Crime Scene Detectives responded to a breaking, entering, and larceny on Crestridge Dr. Statesville, NC.  The victim reported he found the garage door of the home open.  The victim reported that he noticed a shotgun missing from the home with a value of $350.00 dollars.

Detectives began an investigation and from talking to various neighbors and from the evidence collected it was learned a possible suspect to be Justian Ryan Pohoski.  Detectives were able to locate information that Pohoski had borrowed a cell phone and listed the gun on Craigslist for sale.   Detectives learned that Pohoski sold the shotgun for $75.00 dollars but the gun has not be recovered.

 Also through the investigation Detectives learned that Pohoski was a convicted felon and is not allowed to possess any firearms. Detectives obtained warrants on Justian Ryan Pohoski for Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.  Justian Ryan Pohoski of 804 Crestridge Dr. Statesville, NC was arrested on Friday, October 20th, and was taken before Magistrate Thompson where he was given a $30,000.00 secured bond.  Pohoski has pending court dates in Statesville District Court.

Justian Ryan Pohoski is currently on Probation for Sell of Schedule II Narcotics, Sell and Delivery of Schedule I Narcotics, and Felony Breaking and Entering.  The court consolidated the Felony Breaking and Entering and Sell and Delivery of Schedule I Narcotics for a 60 month probation sentence.  He also received an additional 60 month probation sentence for Sell of Schedule II Narcotics.  Pohoski was sentenced to probation on September 2nd, 2015 and was scheduled to be removed on August 31st, 2020.  Pohoski should receive a probation violation resulting from the new charges pending.
