Sherriff Darren Campbell stated that on September 25, 2017, a Domestic incident occurred at 119 Cross creek Drive Statesville involving Isaias Gregorio Flores and a female victim. Flores was arrested on the scene for assault on a female and also charged with violating a Domestic Violence Protection Order .This case was assigned to Detective Nathan Rash of the Special Victim’s Unit and after investigating the case Rash discovered that Flores had been convicted of Assault on two prior occasions.

 Detective Rash applied for a warrant for Felony Habitual Assault.

Isaias Flores was arrested on September 26, 2017 for Habitual Assault and was given a $10,000.00 secured bond.

Flores has prior Criminal convictions of: Simple Assault, Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury, Shop Lifting, Possession of Marijuana, and several traffic offenses. Flores is also currently on Probation and has a pending charge of Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance.
