[ARCHIVED] Suspects arrested for Multiple Felony Drug Charges.

Sheriff Darren E. Campbell stated: On Tuesday August 29, 2017, Narcotics Investigators with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office acting on information from community sources received through Iredell County Sheriff’s Office website along with other information gathered from investigative leads, conducted a search of 120 Estes Road in Northern Iredell County.

When investigators arrived at the home, they encountered Loren Dave Moore in the driveway. After speaking with Moore, he stated there was another male in the residence by the name of Shannon Fox.

No one should have been in this residence due to it having been condemned by the Iredell County Health Department last November when sheriff’s office narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at the residence. Nine individuals were arrested out of the home and methamphetamine and methamphetamine manufacturing materials were seized then.

A subsequent search of the house on this day located methamphetamine and methamphetamine manufacturing materials, both Moore and Fox were taken into custody.

As a result of this investigation the following charges were filed:

Loren Dave Moore received one count each of Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Felony Maintain a Vehicle, Dwelling or Place to Sell Controlled Substance.

Shannon Glenn Fox received one count each of Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Felony Maintain a Vehicle, Dwelling or Place to Sell Controlled Substance, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine.

Sheriff Campbell also stated “These are the type of repeat criminals who get charged, get out and continue to commit crimes. They are prime examples of individuals who need to be in prison and out of our communities. They have no respect for the law or society. They continue to produce illegal drugs which cause other people to be addicted and commit more crimes to feed their habits. I certainly hope the court system deals them a harsh sentence and makes them believe we will not tolerate this type of behavior in Iredell County”.
