Sheriff Darren Campbell is pleased to announce
the successful completion of RAD training this week for Randy Marion employee’s
in Mooresville. “RAD” stands for Rape,
Aggression Defense training. The course
is designed to give participants the tools they need to survive a violent
personal attack. The class centers on
finding viable options of self-defense techniques. “We hope this will help these women develop
the skills they need to escape a violent situation,” said Sheriff Campbell. The Sheriff’s Office was very grateful to
have had the opportunity to come in and train some of the staff at Randy Marion
Automotive Group.
We look forward to taking this training to
other groups within the community. “Our
instructors are willing to work with any group to pass along these skills. It really could help save someone’s life
someday,” Class size is limited to 12
participants to allow for adequate hands on training time. There is no charge for the training and the
Sheriff’s Office provides all the required equipment. If you are interested in hosting RAD training
