Notice: Sale of County-Owned Property
At their June 20, 2017 meeting, the Iredell County Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing the sale by electronic public auction of a parcel of county-owned real estate located at 504 Woodlawn Drive, Statesville, NC 28677, Non-Warranty Deed recorded in Bk 2401, Pg 796-797 in the Iredell County Register of Deeds office. No action concerning this property may be taken until 30 days after publication of this notice has passed. An electronic public auction of this property will begin on or after August 7, 2017 at GovDeals.com, www.govdeals.com, an online auction site specializing in the sale of government properties, and will close no less than fourteen days thereafter.
This property will be sold as-is. The high bidder will be required to pay the full amount of their bid at the time the auction closes with funds held in escrow by GovDeals. The high bid shall be reported to the County Board of Commissioners, who will accept or reject the bid within 30 days after such report is made. No sale can be completed until the Board has approved and accepted the high bid. If the Board accepts the high bid, the sale becomes final, the deed will be recorded by Iredell County, mailed to the high bidder and the sale will be considered closed. If the Board rejects the high bid, the full amount of the high bid will be refunded. Additional instructions, conditions and requirements of the sale will be shown on auction bid site.

There is no cost to access the GovDeals website or to register as a bidder. However, all bidders must register online at www.govdeals.com.
