[ARCHIVED] Suspect arrested for Possession or Distribution of Methamphetamine Precursor

Sheriff Darren E. Campbell stated: On Thursday January 26, 2017 the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigation Unit along with members of North Carolina Probation and Parole conducted a search of a suspected methamphetamine lab site.

Narcotics investigators had been receiving information about a possible meth lab in northern part of Iredell County near the Houstonville Road area. As more information was gathered, Tracy Levi Tulbert was identified as a possible suspect.

Criminal record checks indicated Tulbert is currently on probation for a conviction of Selling of Schedule II Controlled Substances.

When investigators arrived at Tulbert’s home located at 172 York Spann Road they located items consistent with the manufacturing and use of methamphetamine.

Tulbert was transported to the Iredell County Detention Center where he was charged with one Felony Count of Possession or Distribution of Methamphetamine Precursor. He was placed under 75,000.00 dollars secured bond. 

Tulbert has a considerable criminal history to include convictions of; Sell Schedule II Controlled Substance, Assault, Possession of Marijuana, Multiple DWI’s, Driving with a Revoked License, and Hit and Run.
