[ARCHIVED] Suspect charged with Fel. Breaking or Entering a Motor Vehicle & Fel. Larceny

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated that the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office received a report for a a breaking and entering to a motor vehicle on Trollingwood Lane Mooresville. The victim reported that numerous items were taken out of their unlocked vehicle. The victim reported that bags filled with Karate gear was stolen with a value of over $2,600.00 dollars.
While taking this report a neighbor reported damage to two screen windows in his home. The victim reported to Deputies that he believed that a family member could possibly be responsible for his damages as well as the car breaking and entering next door. A search of the name revealed the suspect Thomas Sherrill Graham has a lengthy criminal history and is currently on probation and has other charges pending in court.
Detectives with the Iredell County Sheriff’s office received information that the property stolen from Trollingwood Lane was in the possession of Graham at his residence in Catawba County. Detectives went to the home of Graham and were able to recover all the property that was stolen. The property was returned to the owner in this matter. Graham denied any knowledge of this incident and said that some friends gave it to him but he refused to provide any names.
Thomas Sherrill Graham was charged with Felony Breaking or Entering a Motor Vehicle, Felony Larceny, and Injury to Personal Property for both incidents on Trollingwood Lane. Catawba County Sheriff’s Office located and arrested Graham on the outstanding warrants. Graham is currently incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Center on a $15,000.00 Secured Bond for Iredell County Charges.
Mr. Graham was also charged by Catawba County Sheriff’s Office with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, driving while license revoked, and Simple Assault. He received an additional 1,500.00 dollar secured bond for these charges. Graham has pending court dates in both Iredell and Catawba County on these charges.
