[ARCHIVED] Suspects arrested for breaking and entering several vehicles

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated on August 31, 2016 Deputies responded to the area of Bristol Rd where a citizen had observed suspicious activity. Being aware of past vehicle break in’s in the area Deputies quickly responded and determined this was a breaking and entering case. Officers searched the area and located three suspects, Jacob Parsons, W/M 16 years old and a 15 year old and 13 year old.
At the time the suspects were located evidence was found in the possession of the young men that linked them to multiple car break in’s. That occurred during the night. The property was recovered and will be returned to the rightful owner. In addition to the five vehicle breaking and entering’s the suspects committed in the early morning hours of August 31st. Evidence found in possession of the suspects’, together with other information gathered during the investigation linked them to other cases that occurred in the area.
With all the evidence gathered, it indicates these three are responsible for a total of 12 vehicle breaking and entering’s that occurred in and around the area of Bristol Rd, Cline and Greer St over a 10 day period.

Parsons was taken into custody and will be charged with the 12 vehicle breaking and entering cases. The 13 year old was released to his parents, while DSS took custody of the 15 years old. Detectives will be seeking charges against the 13 and 15 year through Juvenile Services. The investigation is still on going and it is believed the suspects are involved in other similar cases.
