[ARCHIVED] Suspect arrested for Felony Marijuana violations

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: A two month undercover investigation into the sale and distribution of marijuana in the Southern End of Iredell County was concluded with an arrest on Wednesday July 27, 2016 by detectives of the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit.

Gary Hughes of 472 Williamson Road, Mooresville was arrested and charged with three felony counts of Possession with Intent to sell and Deliver Marijuana, Sell and Deliver Marijuana and Manufacture Marijuana.

Information was received by detectives and a surveillance operation was established on the suspect’s residence. It was determined Hughes was growing marijuana at his residence.

Hughes was taken to the Iredell County Detention Center and was placed under 15,000.00 dollars secured bond.
