[ARCHIVED] Two Suspects arrested for Felony Breaking, Entering, and Larceny to Model Homes

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: on 01/14/ 2016 at Deputy C. Neill received a burglar alarm call at Schumacher Homes on Alcove Rd. Deputy Neill arrived within minutes of the alarm coming in and found that one of the model homes had been broken into. Other County Deputies along with Mooresville PD responded to assist. During this time a green Ford Explorer was located parked near the business with James R. Speight intoxicated and passed out in the vehicle. Mr. Speight was detained after Deputies found he was a friend of Mr. Weber and was waiting on him to return. While canvassing and securing the area, a white male identified as Robert Worth Weber was located hiding behind a fence at the model home lot. When Mr. Weber was approached by Deputies he fled on foot. Sgt. JV Dyson utilized his K-9 to track Mr. Weber. Mr. Weber was found hiding under a trailor and refused to comply with Sgt. Dysons commands. The K-9 was used to assist in taking Mr. Weber into custody.
