Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: A two month investigation into the sale of methamphetamine in the city of Statesville was completed when William Anthony Ray Jolin was arrested on September 10, 2015.
Information was gathered by members of the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigation Unit about methamphetamine sales being conducted in the area of Sullivan Road and Free Nancy Avenue.
Investigators set up surveillance in the area and were able to identify William Jolin as a person of interest in this investigation.
Undercover purchases of methamphetamine were made from Jolin on numerous occasions by detectives.
Six felony warrants were obtained on William Jolin, three for felony possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II (Methamphetamine) and three for felony sell and deliver schedule II (methamphetamine).
The suspect was arrested on September and charged with the six felony counts plus one felony probation violation and a driving while license revoked charge. Jolin was placed under a 45,000.00 dollars secured bond.
Jolin is currently on supervised probation for felony breaking and entering and has been convicted of possession of stolen goods in the past as well.
