Friday, October 13, 2023 is the voter registration deadline for the November 7, 2023 Municipal and Mooresville Graded School Elections. Elections will be held for the towns of Mooresville, Troutman, Harmony, Love Valley, Davidson and a possible runoff election for Statesville (if required).
Voters must live inside the city limits of the municipalities (and within the wards) in order to be eligible to vote.
Voters must live inside the Mooresville Graded school district in order to be eligible to vote in that election.
Beginning with the 2023 Municipal Elections, North Carolina voters will be asked to show photo ID when they check in to vote. Any registered voter can get a free photo ID from their county board of elections office.
All voters will be allowed to vote with or without a photo ID. If any voter is unable to show a photo ID when voting, they will be allowed to vote a provisional ballot.
