Friday, September 15, 2023 is the voter registration deadline for the October 10, 2023 Statesville Municipal and Mooresville Primary Elections. Statesville Wards 1, 4 & 6 are up for election and there is a Primary Election for the Mooresville Commissioner At-Large contest.
Voters must live inside Statesville Wards 1, 4 & 6 to vote in the Statesville Election.
Voters must live inside the city limits of Mooresville to vote in the Commissioner At-Large Primary.
Voters will be asked to show photo ID when they check in to vote. Any registered voter can get a free photo ID from their county board of elections.
All voters will be allowed to vote with or without a photo ID. If any voter is unable to show a photo ID when voting they may vote a provisional ballot.
