[ARCHIVED] Election Day for Statesville Wards 1, 4, 6 & Mooresville Commissioner At Large

Tuesday, October 10th is Election Day for the City of Statesville Ward seats in Districts 1, 4, & 6 as well as a Primary Election for the Town of Mooresville Commissioner At Large.  Polls are open from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm and voters must vote at their assigned polling locations.  There is NO voting at the Board of Elections office on Tuesday, October 10th.

You  must live inside the City of Statesville in Wards 1, 4, or 6 to vote in the Statesville City Elections.

You must live inside the Town of Mooresville to vote in the Mooresville Commissioner At-Large Primary.

Voters must show an acceptable photo ID when they check in at their voting site.  Election workers will check to see if the picture on the ID reasonably resembles the voter.  The address on the photo ID does NOT have to match the voter registration.  Voters who do not have a photo ID will be allowed to vote a provisional ballot.
