The Board of Iredell County, North Carolina invites qualified independent auditors having sufficient governmental accounting and auditing experience in performing an audit in accordance with the specifications outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP) to submit a proposal. The audit will encompass a financial and compliance examination of the unit’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) in accordance with the laws and/or regulations of the State of North Carolina, which include requirements for the minimum scope of the audit. The financial and compliance audit will cover federal, state, and local funding sources in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards; Government Auditing Standards, July 2018 revisions; the provisions of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance), the State Single Audit Implementation Act; and all other applicable laws and regulations Iredell County intends to award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder that provides the proposal most advantageous to the County, taking into consideration quality, performance and timing for delivery. Iredell County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award in the best interest of the County.
