Join me in congratulating Lieutenant Jeremy Younts on his promotion to Captain over the Road Patrol Unit

Captain Younts began his career with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office as a Patrol Deputy with the Community Oriented Policing (COPS) Unit in 2011. Captain Younts came to our office having several years of Law Enforcement experience at a surrounding agency.

Throughout Younts career, he has been a Deputy Canine Handler and a Detective Sergeant in Criminal Investigation before being promoted to Sergeant over the Road Patrol Unit in 2016. Four years later, he was promoted to Lieutenant in the same Road Patrol Unit.
