Today I was humbled to be sworn in for my third term as Sheriff of Iredell County. I would like to take a moment to thank Pastor Brian Burgess and the staff of Beulah Baptist Church, who hosted us.

Thank you also to Chief Resident Superior Court Judge Joseph Crosswhite for saying a few words and leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance. I want to especially thank Superior Court Judge William Long Jr. for administering my oath. And to my Pastor, Chris Lakey, thank you for your heartfelt message and prayer for all of us.

We are blessed to work in Iredell County and to have the support of our citizens. I truly believe that we have one of the best sheriff’s offices in the state and work for some of the finest citizens in the country.
