[ARCHIVED] Convicted felon arrested again on felony drug charges.

Offense(s)/Charge(s): Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

                                      Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule VI 

                                      Controlled Substance

                                      Felony Maintaining a Dwelling or Residence for Sale or Use of a 

                                       Controlled Substance

Location of Incident: 534 Logan Street, Statesville.

Suspect(s): Tamir Elsea Randall, 27 Years Old

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Friday, February 18, 2022 Narcotics Investigators with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office aided by deputies with the SERT Team executed a narcotics search warrant at 534 Logan Street in Statesville, and arrested Tamir Elsea Randall.

Narcotics Investigators had been receiving information about the occupants of the residence possibly distributing controlled substances in the area. 

Narcotics Investigators were able to conduct surveillance operations in the area, confirming the information they had received. They were then able to make purchases of Cocaine from the home. 

Investigators were able to identify Tamir Elsea Randall, and another individual, who investigators were aware of from other investigations in the recent past, as the sources of the narcotics.

Upon execution of the search warrant, the investigators located Tamir Elsea Randall along with another person inside the residence. Both were detained without incident. A search of the residence was conducted. A 9 millimeter pistol along with 1,076 grams of Marijuana were located. 

Tamir Elsea Randall was taken to the Iredell County Detention Center where he was charged with: Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule VI Controlled Substance, and Felony Maintaining a Dwelling or Residence for Sale or Use of a Controlled Substance.

Magistrate D. Chambers issued a 100,000.00 dollar secured bond.
