Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Thursday, April 8, 2021, Deputy D.A. Joyce and Deputy N.G. Hodges were patrolling on Salisbury Highway, near Statesville when they conducted a vehicle stop on a silver Chevrolet passenger car in the area of Beaverbrook Road and Salisbury Highway.
During the course of the vehicle stop, Deputy Hodges utilized canine “Levi” to perform a search of the vehicle. Levi indicated to the positive odor of narcotics in the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle was performed by the deputies. The search uncovered three dosage units of LSD ( Lysergic Acid Diethylamide), one dosage unit of MDMA (Ecstasy), 17 Grams of Marijuana which had been separated into separate bags which is consistent with sales of a controlled substance, one gram of THC wax, along with and several items of drug and marijuana paraphernalia.
Eric Jaden Glasgow was taken into custody on scene, transported to the Iredell County Detention Center. Glasgow was charged with: Felony Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance (LSD), Felony Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance (MDMA), Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Marijuana, Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for the Use or Sale of a Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance (THC Wax), Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia. Glasgow was additionally served with an outstanding Order for Arrest for speeding and reckless driving.
Glasgow appeared before Magistrate S. Nicholson who issued an 8,000.00 dollar secured bond on these charges.
