IREDELL COUNTY SOLID WASTE RESUMES ACCEPTANCE OF MATERIALS AT CONVENIENCE SITES 11/2

Iredell County Solid Waste will resume accepting construction and demolition materials from residential sources at three convenience sites effective Monday, November 2, 2020.  The affected sites are the 901 Site located at 866 West Memorial Highway, Harmony; the Central Site located at 3918 Wilkesboro Highway, Statesville and the West Iredell Site located at 257 Watermelon Road, Statesville.

Customers are encouraged to have exact change or pay by check.  One full pickup load is $16 per load, while a half pickup load is $8.  This fee structure applies to the three convenience sites only.

Citizens are urged to remain in their vehicles, be patient until their turn to unload occurs, as site traffic will be controlled allowing safe separation of persons on site, and adhering to “Social Distancing” recommendations.  As this situation with COVID-19 continues to develop, these changes are subject to modification at any time.
