Records
The Iredell County Sheriff's Office gathers information documenting crime prevention, drug interventions and criminal investigations. Our Records Staff processes this information using a computer software program called Central Square, which is designed for law enforcement records.
The Records Division processes, distributes and stores documentation of incidents and arrests. Other records responsibilities include: warrant and subpoena data entry, preparation of crime analysis reports, and submission of statistics to the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, and to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Uniform Crime Report (UCR). This unit provides information to our deputies, detectives, other criminal justice agencies, and the general public.
