Juvenile Crime Prevention Council

Purpose


The purpose of the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council is to review the needs of the juvenile population in the county who are at risk of delinquency or who have been adjudicated undisciplined or delinquent, to ensure that appropriate intermediate dispositional options are available, and to make recommendations to the board of commissioners on the level of state funding to be awarded to local delinquency prevention programs.

Meeting Schedule (All Meetings Are Open to the Public)


Monthly Meetings are the second Tuesday of the month and are held at the Iredell County Public Library, 201 North Tradd Street, Statesville, NC.  The meeting begins at 12:30 pm.


Special Meetings:
Funding Committee Meeting with Program Presentations for the 2020-2021 Funding Request.  Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 10:00am. Location CATS (Career Academy & Technical School) 350 Old Murdock Rd, Troutman, NC  28166.
