    One Stop Voting for the Nov. 7, 2017 Municipal Elections One Stop Voting begins for the Nov. 7, 2017 Municipal Elections. This includes voters inside the towns of Mooresville, Troutman, Harmony, Love Valley, Davidson, Mooresville Graded School System, and a runoff for the City of Statesville mayor. The BOE (203 Stockton St. Statesville) will be open for voting M-F from 8am to 5 pm and on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 8 am - 1 pm. Call the BOE at 704-878-3140 for further information.

    Nov. 7, 2017 Municipal Elections Election Day for the Towns of Mooresville, Troutman, Davidson, Love Valley, Harmony, Mooresville Graded School System, and a runoff for the Mayor of the City of Statesville. Polls are open from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm. Call the Board of Elections office at 704-878-3140 for questions or further information. You must vote at your assigned polling place. There is no voting at the Board of Elections office on Election Day.

Overview

The Board of Elections is responsible for supervising voter registration and conducting all elections held within Iredell County. Its functions include: 

  • Appointing election officials
  • Establishing election precincts
  • Hearing appeals
  • Investigating voter irregularities

The Board of Elections meets for regular scheduled meetings on the first Tuesday of each month (if there is business to conduct) at 1:15 pm at the Board of Elections Office.
