- Sheriff Darren E. Campbell believes in having a highly trained deputies and detention officers. Our deputies are encouraged to attend local and regional training in addition to our annual mandated training.

Benefits of Employment:
Starting salary range for a Patrol Deputy is $39,338.07-60,411.89 per year (Includes Holiday and Shift Differential) depending on qualifications.
Starting salary range for a Detention Officer is $36,048.00-55,309.00 per year (Includes Holiday and Shift Differential) depending on qualifications.
Training Incentives: 2% for Basic Law Enforcement Certificate, 2% for Intermediate Law Enforcement Certificate, 2% for Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate.
401K Plan with 5% contribution of your adjusted gross salary by the county.
Educational incentives: 2.5% of Associates Degree, 5% for Bachelor's Degree, 7% for Master's Degree.
